I'm not the best guy ever when it comes to taking pictures, so after all the touristy things were taken care of, I mostly had fun. Still I managed to snap a few pictures, so I'll be nice to at least post these.
First picture is a picture of some crazy Osaka-chicks, which I for some reason decided to snap after a visit to that Rock pub.
Following this is the famous crab-building from Osaka, near Dotonbori, the river going trough the city. In the street to the right there were lots of restaurants, and while those certainly was awaiting me, I headed for a specific takoyaki-shop, recommended to me by Yuki.
It was just to the left of that silly building you see up next, which in turn turned out to be a mall. The silliest looking mall I have ever seen :D
All of this is down in Namba, south in Osaka, which is kinda like Nakano, Tokyo in the way it is built with small random shops with a homely, worn down feel to it. However, unlike Nakano, this was not just two small streets having some sort of marked. Namba spanned many blocks and you could just turn any corner to find something new. I liked Namba ;)
Last but not least, was a electronica club I found in Amerika Mura just looking for something besides a rcok pub. Not a big place, and sadly enough, my timing here was pretty bad.
Leaving for Sapporo the next day, I couldn't make this a long night, so I was out kinda early. Hence not too many people around. When action started to pick up, I had to pick up a cab back to the hotel, to get some early sleep to catch my early flight Sunday.
Before I left though, I got to know a few of the people working there. Most amusing were probably Otana, the woman seen behind the bar. Otona also meaning "adult", I had to ask if she was serious. Later consulting the internet, it turns out it is an actual Japanese, female name.
I also got to know some of the DJs playing that night. It was a five DJ club going on that evening, and while most of them were local, they certainly didn't lack talent. This reminded me of the mid-90s rave, only slightly more refined. And I like that kinda music ;)
Anyway: I had scored tickets for Perfume's concert at club Penny Lane 24 in Sapporo, so I headed home early to make sure I didn't miss the flight and the concert.
