Yes, I am alive.

2008.9.12

Ok. So I haven't updated in a good while. I'm just checking in to let you guys know I am indeed alive, and I am now again open to invitations and suggestions involving a few beers out on town.

Short summary of my last months: I've been a Powerpoint-engineer. Or Professor Jostein, if you like.

I've been working on a program called "Microsoft University", and I was assigned as the guy to develop and deliver the .NET developers track. Things Microsoft said "had to" be in the program involves course-material they haven't bothered developing themselves, despite a global demand for similar stuff since the release of .NET 2.0 a few years back.

Guess who the lucky guy who had to put all this together? You know... Script, material, exercises and Powerpoints, the works? Net result has been that I've been busy either developing the program or delivering it the last few months.

Unless I'm overly optimistic, the overtime spent on this alone should pay for my next vacation. Add some bonus on top, and I should be able to stay at ridiculously expensive hotels as well. A summer half wasted, but looking forward to my trip to Cuba :)

Also: Now that I'm done with the Microsoft University program, I'll probably be more open to "wild" suggestions like going out having a beer or catching a concert on weekdays.

Do send me a message ;)
