Pictures: Prague

2009.8.5

These are all crap iPhone pictures so forgive me about the quality. I lost my camera in Munich earlier this summer and my man there still haven't been able to dig it up.

Lots of these pictures are just general pictures conveying the historical feeling you get from the city itself. Lots of old, detailed architecture with graving and what seems a disgust with the simple and plain. Still some comments should be added.

First one shows my most excellent bed at the hotel. These things matters. Second one shows a church nearby my hotel. It is also my only proof for having been up before 10 o'clock on a vacation day, so I though I'd just add it :P

Picture five and six shows some cafés and markets in the city. Markets where fresh fruit and rotten tourist-bait lived in hand in hand.

Following this is the ridiculously huge clock at Old Town Square. A popular meeting spot where you will no doubt be chased by locals wanting to guide you around the city, for a fee ofcourse.

Picture fourteen: Dogs at the disco. Who let the dogs out? Disc dogs? Let the puns fly.

Picture sixteen and seventeen shows some unusual decoration and implies the Czech has a fancy for hanging things. It should be noted that seventeen is indoors. At a cinema (Kino Lucerna).

Eighteen to twenty are just some of the few shots from the royal garden east of the castle. Very nice, calm and relaxed place. Pictures 21 and 22 shows some of the castle, although there were much more to see.

Picture 23 shows the goulash served in bread.

Last two is just to show that I'm not a total drag. 24 is from one of numerous beer-drinking occasions and 25 was the best picture I could get to illustrate what the wall looked like at Cross Club.
