So again, shitty iPhone pictures, blame the Germans for serving obviously drunk people, etc etc.
First four are just to show off about half of my wonderful, spacious hotel-room. I spent near no time here.
Pictures five to eleven shows off some classical sights and monuments which I would love to name and give a background history for, but I can't. Should still give a decent impression of what you can encounter walking around the city though.
Picture twelve shows some stone monument which would probably have been banned on sight in the US, but Hungarians are not prunes, so it's all cool.
Picture thirteen, which you might have to examine a little bit more closely, hints that the lack of commercialism in Hungary has left brand-recognition somewhat lacking. A Red-bull container neatly tagged "Not trash". I'm assuming there is a reason the note was put up :)
Picture fourteen shows the entrance hall to a Hungarian bath. These places are very grand.
Fifteen to seventeen shows the castle-complex seen from the city, monuments in front of it and the csatle building itself. Some silly café which was setup near the front kinda ruined the whole thing, but all in all very grand.
Eighteen and nineteen shows Budapest (or at least Pest, east-side of the river) as seen from the castle.
Twenty shows the humidor-cabinet in the hotel's cigar-lounge. I want one of these at home. No really!
Next one shows the city as seen at night from the Citadel. The iPhone camera captured about 3.14% of its beauty and I guess you have to have been here to get get why, but it was nice, so I included the picture anyhow.
The fountain probably doesn't look too spectacular on its own either, but there you have it :P
Next one up is the Budapest Opera. If you can't tell that is a wildly historical and amazing building, go back to your trailer-camp.
Next one is only there for my dad. He likes trains. This train was at the railway station in the eastern end of Budapest. Seemed taken out of commision though.
Last but not least, my fabulous guide trough Budapest and its outskirts: Give a round of applause for Hajnalka!
